The Heights at the Roe
163 Conarroe Street, Manayunk, Philadelphia
- Campbell Thomas & Co. obtained zoning and conducted meetings for public input regarding neighborhood concerns. Working with the owner we placed the buildings on Philadelphia’s Register of Historic Places. The design added a second floor to the church interior to maximize the combined rental size to 23,000 square feet with thirteen one- and two-bedroom apartments with a new elevator. Units save energy with super high efficiency heat pumps, triple glazed windows, high R insulation and solar panels on the roof to lower utility bills. We fitted out the basements to include socializing spaces to encourage community and pet-friendly interactions. It includes a fully equipped gym, co-working spaces with kitchen and meeting rooms. There is locker storage, an ADA compliant doggie bathing spa, an outdoor garden and more than adequate parking.
