An 1890’s Philadelphia
brownstone lost its charm when a 1920’s storefront
addition was demolished for a 1960’s “modern” marble
front renovation. Eventually the marble fell off, upper
floors lost key elements to time, erosion, stucco
facelifts and poor repairs. Old photos help show
original trim profiles which were then analyzed and
modeled in Revit software for 3D photo-realistic
representations. Since the 3D data model is to scale it
was sliced for dimensioned detail drawings, Philadelphia
Historical Commission approval, and contractor input and
pricing.
